The Chosen 1's Scripture
You didn’t choose me. I chose you. I appointed you to go and produce lasting fruit, so that the Father will give you whatever you ask for, using my name. John 15:16
The mission of the L3 is to cultivate student leaders who are mindful of community, empowered for service, and prepared to pursue post-secondary educational endeavors. This program provides students with the necessary skills to be successful in all facets of their lives and have control over their future.
L3 On Campus
EKO is now on the campus of 6 Orange County schools. We are proud to announce that our new L3 class will be on the campus of 3 of those schools.
This class provides students with the necessary skills to be successful in all facets of their lives and have control over their future. This class will encompass weekly lesson plans that include social issues, ethical dilemmas, public speaking presentations, movie segments, leadership principles and current events. These lesson plans have been carefully put together by the EKO staff, along with the help of amazing community leaders and educators.
The L3 class includes a 30-week curriculum, along with the planning of 3 school wide projects. Participants will go through leadership training, character development, life skills and team building classes and workshops.
L3 class participants (20-30 students per campus) will be hand selected by school administration and teachers, with input from the EKO Staff. Some schools hand pick class participants based on the populations in their school, such as students from at-risk communities, incoming impressionable freshman, upperclassmen showing leadership potential.
